Affordable camping vacation with Air Conditioning – Review of Knoebels Campground, Elysburg, PA

We stayed at Knoebels campground in July 2011. We booked a cabin that was an “Eagle’s Roost” cabin. This meant that the cabin had a kitchen, bathroom, livingroom area with two sets of bunk beds, small loft that slept two, and a bedroom with double bed. the cabin was nice, and had a clean bathroom. We enjoyed the air conditioning (the rustic cabins have electric but no air conditioning). We were very pleased with the trip. We avoided the weekend to avoid lines for the rides. Knoebels is a great bargain with free parking and free admission. You can just pay for tickets as you go on rides. Overall, a very affordable family trip which our children enjoyed.More
